While Fashionbird.com is still in the process of launching, it has been one of our larger projects to date.  The client selected the Magento platform Community Edition as his platform of choice, and asked us to build a highly-customized set of websites that shared a catalog and Magento backend.

We started with the design process. The site was designed by us from the ground up with a great deal of iterative input from the client. Then we moved on to coding the website. We built several custom features for this particular Magento site, including the filter by color swatch functionality that you see pictured in the screenshot above. Also included in this website was an easy to way to manage complex configurable product inventory via spreadsheets, a category upload function, special image swapping color swatch gallery functionality for configurable products, and many more customizations.

We look forward to seeing fashionbird get off the ground and start selling to customers shortly.
